About Sheridan Insurances

Sheridan Insurances was established in 1964 by Paddy Sheridan. From small beginnings, this family-run business now employs 48 people across 3 office locations in Wexford, New Ross and Kilkenny. Sheridan Insurances is recognised as one of the most reputable Insurance Brokers in the South-East.

All Personnel – both management and staff at Sheridan Insurances strive to be the best at what they do. They are driven by strong commitment to service quality, speed of delivery and customer care, and these are the foundation stones that have helped build our company.

Since our foundation in 1964, we have had an ongoing policy to treat every customer, supplier and staff member with integrity, respect and courtesy. Delivering value for our customers and getting better value for money are and have been central to this philosophy. While these were important values in 1964, they are now crucial and remain as core values to us.

Our Structure

Our business is divided into 4 distinct divisions (listed below) but our philosophy is uniform across all divisions – “To provide our customers with a level of service they will not receive from a direct or on-line insurer”. At Sheridan’s each client is assigned a Personal advisor who is their point of contact from quote to claim. This advisor will look after all their insurance needs within their division.

We encourage face to face contact with their advisor, who will address our clients concerns, compare quotes, negotiate cover and rates, help in the completion of all the paperwork and offer a superior claims handling service.

Insurance can be a complicated product. It is the small things that make the difference to a policy, a word added here, a sentence missing there – that mean all insurance policies are not the same – the wrong policy could mean a client suffering a significant loss and then discover that they are uninsured. We have the qualified people in place to compare products from many different providers ensuring out clients have the cover the need.

Personal Insurance
Our “one to one” client relationship model remains unique in this area, providing home, private motor, commercial Vehicle and travel insurance for our clients.
Commercial Insurance
Addressing the Clients concerns and fears is the key to adding value to the Business Client. In addition we deal with the administration and liaise with the insurers removing the burden of insurance from business. When that claim inevitably does occur, we handle all the administration and negotiate on our client’s behalf to ensure all losses are reimbursed as fully and as quickly as possible.
Life and Pensions
Life Insurance is required by pretty much everyone, but the details and the program are almost always unique. Pension provision is now more important then ever, and those that are serious about their Pension provision need, sound fundamental advice and an ability to diversify one’s investments. Our Financial Services division offers a full range of services to include; pensions, life assurance, income protection, keyman, etc.
Mortgages
We have the agency of EBS in our Wexford Office providing a full range of Mortgage Lending and banking services.
